Veterinary Cancer Specialists (VCS) is the oncology department of the Veterinary Referral Center of Colorado. VCS is a progressive veterinary cancer center that provides comprehensive and progressive cancer diagnostic and treatment options for the veterinary patient. Our primary commitment continues to be to ensure the quality of life of our cancer patients.

Veterinary Cancer Specialists services include advanced diagnostic technologies (digital radiography, ultrasound, cytology, soft tissue and bone biopsies, bone marrow cytology and biopsy, MRI and an on-site laboratory) to facilitate accurate diagnosis, disease staging and prognosis. Treatment options for cancer patients may include modalities such as chemotherapy, radiation therapy, along with treatment combinations and newer innovative therapies). Patients may also be eligible to participate in a variety of funded clinical trials to evaluate investigational therapies. These are discussed fully with the pet owner so that the best possible decisions are reached.
